Emily Fusting
Emily Fusting is a Partner in the firm who focuses her practice on public finance and corporate law. Her public finance practice focuses on representation as bond counsel and underwriter’s counsel on tax-exempt and taxable financings. She has experience in a wide range of debt structures (including general obligation bonds, revenue bonds, pooled loan programs, letters of credit, subject to appropriation leases, bond anticipation notes, WIFIA loans, TIFIA loans, USDA loans, and Maryland state loan programs) and with a wide range of projects (including transportation facilities, water, sewer and wastewater facilities, governmental infrastructure, and senior living communities). Her corporate practice includes assisting clients in the areas of corporate finance, mergers and acquisitions, private equity, venture capital, and corporate formation and structuring. She also assists a variety of businesses with day-to-day general corporate needs and corporate governance.
Emily is a member of the Maryland and DC bars and the National Association of Bond Lawyers. She is active in the Baltimore community including iMentor Baltimore, the Notre Dame Prep Alumnae Association, and HopeWell Cancer Support.
