Simon Liu

Simon Liu’s practice focuses on the federal tax regulations and guidance regarding tax-exempt bonds. Simon has conducted a wide array of substantive tax work, including drafting tax certificates and analyzing private use and reissuance issues. Prior to joining McKennon Shelton & Henn, Simon worked at Bloomberg Industry Group, where he contributed to Tax Management Portfolios regarding business entities. In law school, Simon served as a Student Attorney at the Low Income Taxpayer Client, where he advised and represented clients on tax controversies before the IRS.

Simon is a member of the Maryland bar and the National Association of Bond Lawyers
